Super Bowl Party 2007

Living Water's 3rd Annual (and Clif's 23rd Annual) Super Bowl party was Sunday night, Feb. 4, 2007. We held a party to watch and rate the Super Bowl ads, and amazingly an entertaining football game broke out! Congratulations to the Colts who won the football game 29-17 over the Bears, and Anheuser-Busch who won the ad game.
Here are our favorite Super Bowl commercials of 2007, tallied from the 38 ballots turned in:
- Anheuser-Busch ad featuring immigrants learning how to ask for a Bud Light (59 points).
- Anheuser-Busch ad where guys play "rock, paper, scissors" for a beer (34 points).
- General Motors ad where shirtless guys can't keep their hands off the Chevy HHR (17 points).
Honorable Mention: Anheuser-Busch ad with a stray dog and the Clydesdales (15 points), Anheuser-Busch ad with apes plotting to get a Bud Light (14 points), and the Snickers ad with two auto mechanics eating the same candy bar (13 points).
Anheuser-Busch is a perennial power, so no surprise there. But congratulations to General Motors for having the guts to air an amateur ad and for breaking into the top three with the ad.
