Youth Ministry
Living Water Christian Church loves the energy, creativity, passion and insight that youth bring to a church. Youth are involved in all aspects of church life - worship, study, service and fellowship. Of course, sometimes they want to be among their own kind. Faith issues have their own unique challenges when you're between the ages of 12-18.
Youth have their own time together during the 11:00 small group time to talk about issues of faith and what is important to them. They also plan other activities outside of Sundays, too. Sometimes they watch a video or work on a service project together. Sometimes they have a lock-in at the church and work on Spam sculptures at 2 am. Through it all, they are building relationships with one another and growing in their relationship to God.
We also have a youth band with a professional director who works on teaching fundamentals of playing as well as making a cohesive band sound. Any youth who want to play in a band are welcome to join. They rehearse on Sundays at 12:30.
